Reset Your Globe Home Broadband Wi-Fi Modem or Router

There are some cases where you forgot your password that you set on your Globe Home Broadband Wi-Fi modem or router and you do not know how to recover it back. Also, you messed some of the settings and you wanted to restore them back to their original setup. These issues can be solved by resetting your modem which requires very simple and few steps that are quite easy to follow.

For those who do not know yet, Globe’s broadband modem device are given by the company for free particularly to those subscribers who intend to subscribe to postpaid internet plan. Some subscribers can also use this unit by using their prepaid SIM.

So how do you reset your Globe Home Broadband Router?

After trying every possible option to connect or access your Wi-Fi network and you still fail, your final option is to reset your router.

Step 1: Power ON your device.

Step 2: At the opposite or back portion of your modem, look for a small hole which is located at the lower left bottom. What you are doing to is to find a certain object which you can use to puncture the hole. This hole is the reset button.

Step 3: You have to press and then hold the reset button for about 10 seconds before you release it.

Step 4: After step 3, you can now go to the dashboard and login by using your default username and admin password.

Take note: This tutorial when performed on your modem device, it will erase all of your current settings restoring it back to the original configuration setup by Globe.

Moreover, this method should always be your last option. It is suggested that you should try your best troubleshooting your internet connection because the cause might not be from your router but on some other devices.
