Palawan Express Pera Padala Transaction Rates

Among all the companies in the Philippines that are offering money transfer services, you may be surprised to know that Palawan Express has the best offer when it comes to the cheapest and affordable rates.

Despite of the company’s name Palawan, their services isn’t actually just catered for that particular region of the country. They have thousands of scattered branches across nationwide. They even made partnership with other similar companies which are the Palawan Pawnshop, Tambunting, LBC, Robinsons, and SM Malls.

Through Palawan Express’ partnership with other big companies, this ensures that you can easily have access to their service of sending or receiving your money anywhere you are.

Listed below are the Palawan Express Pera Padala transaction rates. The rates are divided into two major groups. First group is the Metro Manila and North Luzon. Second group are Visayas to Mindanao, South Luzon, Masbate, Romblon, and Palawan.

All denominations are in terms of Philippine peso currency.

First Group: Metro Manila and North Luzon

Second Group: Visayas to Mindanao, South Luzon, Masbate, Romblon, and Palawan

As you can see on the transaction rate table above, the minimum amount that you can send through Palawan Express starts from 1 to 100 pesos while the maximum amount is 50,000 pesos.

Comparing the two groups, you will notice that the second group has cheaper transaction rates.

Steps on Sending Money through Palawan Express

Step 1: Go to the nearest Palawan Express outlet from your location. If you do not have any idea then you can use Google Maps to help you out.

Step 2: Ask the agent to give you the Send Money Form. But in most cases, the form is readily available at the counter where you can just grab one for yourself. Just make sure that it is the Send Money Form and not the Receive Money Form.

Step 3: Fill-up your Send Money Form where you will be providing your name, the receiver’s name, and your Mobile number.

Step 4: After filling-up the Send Money Form with all the required details, hand it over to the agent. Along with the form, you also need to provide at least one valid ID.

You can check out my post about all acceptable valid IDs in the Philippines.

Step 5: When the agent have finished checking all the details that you provided, pay the overall required amount that is needed. These are the amount of money that you are going to send and its corresponding transaction fee.

Step 6: Finalize your transaction by double checking all the details before you sign the copy of the form.

Step 7: The agent will ask you to wait for a few seconds for them to process your transaction and print a copy of your receipt. Your receipt includes the code which you need to pass to your receiver to claim the money that you just sent.

Aside from the receipt, you will also receive an SMS notification informing you that your remittance is ready to be claimed to any Palawan Express branches in the Philippines.

Steps on Receiving Money through Palawan Express

Step 1: Visit the nearest available Palawan Express outlet in your area.

Step 2: Fill out the Receive Money Form with all the necessary details which includes the sender’s name and the secret code.

Step 3: Submit the form to the agent along with any of your valid ID.

Step 4: At this point, the agent may ask you to wait for a few seconds for them to process your transaction.

Step 5: You will be called by the agent to release your money and at the same time, you need to sign the receipt that you have successfully received your money. And of course, you will be given a copy of the receipt.

Moreover, you have to know that remittance sent through Palawan Express can be claimed within a period of 30 days without charges or fees. If you intend to claim your money over a period of 30 days then it is subjected to 30 pesos or 1 percent charge of the principal amount on a monthly basis. But if your money is unclaimed for 1 year, then you might end up losing all of it.

LBC Pera Padala Rates and Charges

If you want to send money to someone in the Philippines then you may want to consider using LBC as a money transfer. The reason is that, the company has been operating for many years now in the country and they have proven their trust and reliability.

Many Filipinos are already using LBC to send and receive money. Parents do often use LBC to send money to their children particularly their children who are already at their college levels and studying far away from their home.

However, LBC is not the only money transfer company that is operating in the Philippines. There are now many other companies that emerged offering the same type of services to the Filipino people. To name a few, we have Western Union, M Lhuillier, Cebuana, Palawan Express, and etc…

All money transfers in the Philippines seem to provide an excellent quality of their services. The only difference is their transaction rates and charges. Thus, before using any of the money transfer services, it is advisable to make comparison to their transaction fees.

You have to know that there are money transfer services that offers cheaper amount of rates than others. It all actually depends on your location. So it is all up to you to make the necessary comparison.

Other money transfer companies and their rates are covered on separate posts. This post only covers LBC Pera Padala rates and charges which are listed below:

As you can see on the table above, the minimum amount that you can send is worth 100 pesos while the maximum amount is 5,000 pesos. Thus, if the amount of money that you are planning to send is way above 5,000 pesos then you may want to consider using other money transfer services that allows such amount.

The common term for money transfer services in the Philippines is called “cash-to-cash” pick up. But when it comes to LBC, they much prefer to call their money transfer service as “Instant Peso Padala” due to the reason that they offer real-time money remittance.

So if you used LBC to send money to your beloved family, they can immediately receive or claim the money from their respective nearest LBC branch office. Currently, there are now more than 2,000 LBC branch offices that are operating nationwide (Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao).

Take note: Before the receiver can claim or receive the money, the sender must provide the receiver the tracking number which will be asked by the agent or required to be filled on the receiver’s form. The tracking number can be found at the sender’s receipt.

Aside from the tracking number, the agent will also ask for a valid ID to verify the identity of the receiver. You can check my post that covered the list of acceptable valid IDs in the Philippines.

Moreover, LBC’s transaction rates or charges covered on this post may change without notice. Anyway, if I become aware about such changes then I will make the necessary updates.

Recently, a payment processor in the Philippines called “M Lhuillier” has been gaining some popularity. They even have several entertaining commercials being shown on the TV.

The services offered by M Lhuillier include money transfer, bills payment, pawnshops, and cash loans. But among those services, they are more commonly used for their remittance service. Thus, they branded the company as “ML Kwarta Padala”.

Thus, Filipinos abroad can take advantage of their money transfer service to send money back home to their beloved families and friends.

ML Kwarta Padala Rates

ML Lhuillier will gain profit out from the rates or charges of the money that you will be sending. The rate or charge is dependent on the amount of money to be sent. This means, the higher amount of money that you will be sending will incur a higher amount of transaction fee.

Anyway, listed below are the transfer rates or charges according to the range of amount that is to be sent:

After sending the amount of money, you will be given a tracking number or the KPTN. This is an important piece of information in which you need to provide to the person who is going to receive the cash that you sent. And also, don’t forget to inform the receiver to bring his or her valid ID.

Speaking about the valid ID, you may want to refer to my post about the list of acceptable Valid IDs in the Philippines.

If it happens that something went wrong on your transactions, M Lhuillier has their own toll free hotline number which is 1-800-105-723-252 which you can call anytime.

Moreover, you may also want to check Western Union Pera Padala and compare their rates or charges. Then, choose which one of the two services is more affordable for you to use.

List of Philippine Banks Swift Codes

As an online entrepreneur, I have joined several affiliate programs that pays directly via bank deposits. In order for the foreign banks to transfer my earnings into my Philippine bank accounts, they needed my bank’s swift code.

Even Paypal does require the swift code of your bank if you want to withdraw your money from it to your Philippine bank account.

SWIFT stands for “Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication” codes. Some would refer to the swift codes as BIC or “Bank Identifier Code”. The codes of receiving banks here in the Philippines are composed of 8 to 11 digits.

If you are going to analyze the code carefully, you will notice that the swift code is taken from four types of information. They are the bank code, country code, location code, and branch code.

For example: We “BPFSPHM1” as the swift code for the BPI Family Savings Bank in Makati.

Let’s further dissect the code.

BPSF – These first four letters is that institution Code or bank code.

PH – These two letters is the Country code which obviously stands for the word Philippines.

M1 – These could either be two letter or digits and they stand for the location code.
