Have you ever had an experience where people whom you do not know simply hates you for no reason at all? (In fact even some close friends and relatives) The reason is possibly, "Envy". A person who feels envy about you is someone who simply dislikes you due to the quality, possession or any desirable attributes that you have but they don't.
Being "envious" to somebody else is actually a natural for everyone. However, it is considered as a bad characteristic or attribute.
It's a human nature to be envy. But, this attitude can be easily overcome by "truly believing into your own self".
I myself have never envy someone else because of my confidence towards my own self.
Here's the following quote why I am able to stick into my strong self-confidence:
Based on Religious belief, we humans are all born equal. So there is nothing that one particular person can do that others can't.
However, majority of people are engulfed by their envious behaviors. When they see someone else that they envy, then tend to criticize the person or does things that harms them in any possible ways.
So what can you do when you are being envied?
When you are a victim of envious people, just ignore them because it won't do you any good if you try to argue with them. You will just be wasting your precious time because an issue that involves envy isn't that easy to be solved. In most cases, it won't get solved. Thus, rather than to argue with them, it is best to ignore them and prefer to spend your precious time on more important things.
Me and my family were actually a previous victim of envious people.
They were mad at us just because we made improvements with our house where it now became bigger in size.
What's wrong with that?
Our house was built in our own lot or land property. We bought the land legally and we even have the papers to show in case the argument goes to a court.
Although, that's not the only issue. There are many other humiliating criticism and degrading made-up stories that they are throwing about us. Of course, some people will believe them while others don't.
But just like what I said above, reacting to those issues won't do any good. So we decided to ignore everything and to keep silent. We do not care whatever made-up gossips or rumors that they throw at us. Besides, people whom we know and know us won't easily fall for them.
Moreover, no matter how good is your reputation or how successful you are, there will always be some people around who are just meant to hate and envy you. It can never be avoided.
Thus, you have to learn how to live with it.
But one good thing is for sure, you have to keep what you are doing because the presence of these envious individuals around you only means that you are doing great or achieving great success. That is the main reason why you are worth envying.
