For the past several months, we’ve been invaded by red ants and cockroaches. According to my research, when you have these kinds of pest around your house, it means that you have a very untidy home.
Anyway, we have attempted to clean the house but the pests still won’t go away. They probably find our house a more suitable place for them to live.
My mother have already purchased a lot of those insect repellant sprays and eliminated many of the crawling pests. However, their number seems to be endless. It’s like they are able to mass produce themselves in a very short period of time.
Thus, buying those insect repellant sprays just costs some amount of money because it isn’t effective at completely annihilating the pests.
The Black and Red Ants
The black ants have a size of around 3 to 5 millimeter and when you squeeze them, they emit some kind of terrible odor. For this reason, it is not good to terminate them on this manner.
What’s really annoying about the black ants is that, their numbers are growing so rapidly. On a daily basis, you will notice that they will be crawling all over the place. You can see them on the ceiling and most likely at the corners.
As for the red ants, they are smaller in size than the black ants. They measure around 2 millimeter only and they got thinner body size. However, these red ants are actually a lot more annoying than the black ants.
Why?
It’s because the red ants keep on crawling into our food even to our drinking water. You won’t even notice their existence where they just suddenly appear out of nowhere. In most cases, it’s already late when you can notice their presence.
The Cockroaches
During the night, a lot of cockroaches come out to have party especially when we already switched all the lights OFF. There are times when I have to wake up at night and that’s the time where I often encounter a lot of these pests.
Since I already encountered a lot of them, I already became quite skilled at stomping these cockroaches around. But just like the ants, these insects also continuously grow in numbers.
Right now, we are clueless on how are we going to eliminate the presence of the ants and cockroaches in our house. Thus, we are performing all possible solutions as long as it is safe to us.
So this time around, we have discovered the Powder Bait which is a product by the Green Leaf.
To use this powder bait, you just need a small plate where you are going to put the bait’s contents. Then place it near the place where the pests love to hang around.
After a few weeks, I can no longer notice the presence of the red ants. However, there are still some black ants. As for the cockroaches, only few of them died but it seems that they suddenly got clever where they started avoiding the bait.
