As an SSS member which you can be an employee, self-employed, OFW, or voluntary – it is very important for you to be aware about the schedule and deadlines of your monthly contributions. You have to know that there is a penalty for a missed payment that you incur. Surely, you do not want that to happen.
Covered on this post is the exact due date or deadline of your SSS (Social Security System) premium on a monthly basis. You can save an offline copy of the schedule or you can bookmark it on your browser for easier reference in the future.
Regular and Household Employers
Take a close look into your ER/HR number. It should contain a total of 13 digits. Now, pay attention to the 10th digit only and refer to the details below:
If your 10th digit ends in 1 or 2, your payment deadline will be on the 10th day of the month.
If your 10th digit has an ending of 3 or 4, it’s on the 15th day of the month is your payment deadline.
A 10th digit that ends in 5 or 6 will have a payment deadline on the 20th day of the month.
A 10th digit with an ending of 7 or 8 number has a scheduled deadline on the 25th day of the month.
Having a 10th digit with a number of 9 or 0 entitles you a payment deadline at the last day of the month.
All payment deadlines on this category must follow the applicable months.

The scheduled payment deadlines for self-employed and voluntary members are exactly the same as the above (regular and household employers). But, the only difference is that the payment deadlines must follow the applicable month or quarter.
